Tuesday Trading Card Swap

Kimberly Laws has started a Tuesday Trading Card Swap, with three ATCs to swap every Tuesday. She has a different theme each week, and the first 3 who email her are the lucky swappers for that week. A couple of weeks ago I was one of the lucky ones!

The Theme for that week was Alice in Wonderland

And here's the card I sent! Love that Graphics 45 paper! I "borrowed" Kim's photo since it was so much better than my own. Really need to learn how to take better photos!  This swap was so much fun - hope to swap with her again soon! Thanks so much for swapping with me, Kimberly!

Busy as a Bee!

Our renters disappeared into the night a few weeks ago, leaving behind a colossal mess.  Clearing out, giving things away, hauling, cleaning, and fixing have kept me so busy - and worn out. The new renter wants to move in April 1, so have to push to finish everything within the next few days.  Then I can return to learning how to blog!

February 2011 ATC Swap

Our Jax ATC Traders' group met at the Olive Garden a couple of Saturdays ago to trade our latest batch of cards.  We had been on an extended break - from October - so had some catching up to do! Each time we meet someone selects the theme for the next trade. So, back in early October when the theme, "Anything Goes", was given, I was thinking about Christmas. Needless to say, mine were the only Christmas themed cards swapped! I'll have to get some photos to show what I received - all beautiful, of course. A fun group!

I really love that stamp (Memory Box) purchased from A Small Cleverness. The sheet music background paper is from The Graphics Fairy, such a wonderful resource!

Baby Quilt

Kathleen & I worked on this baby quilt years ago,

 but the baby for whom it was intended didn't live.

Now, many years later, I got it out and finished it for little John.

It seemed like such a cute idea when we started - all those

different colors of gingham, with the yellow gingham backing!
